  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Some varieties can tolerate low light.
  • Watering: Keep the central cup (rosette) filled with water; refresh weekly. Water the soil lightly when dry.
  • Drainage: Use well-draining soil and pots with drainage holes to prevent root rot.
  • Humidity: Loves humidity! Mist occasionally or place near a humidity tray.
  • Temperature: Keep between 60-80°F. Protect from frost and extreme heat.
  • Fertilizer: Use a diluted bromeliad or orchid fertilizer once a month during the growing season.
  • Air Circulation: Ensure good airflow to prevent fungal issues.
  • Propagation: After flowering, “pups” (baby plants) will grow—separate when they’re about 1/3 the size of the mother plant.
  • Light: Needs bright, indirect sunlight or at least 6 hours of direct light.
  • Watering: Water deeply but only when the soil is completely dry—about every 2-3 weeks. Avoid overwatering!
  • Soil: Use well-draining cactus or succulent soil to prevent root rot.
  • Pot & Drainage: Plant in a pot with drainage holes to avoid excess moisture.
  • Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures (60-80°F); keep indoors if it gets too cold.
